“ The atmosphere is kinda blah; if you can get past that you will find a friendly staff that serves WONDERFUL food. We've been there twice; the first time we got two kinds of empanadas (sorry, I don't remember what kind) and they were really good. The second time we had lunch with my parents and three of the five of us tried the different types of Cubano sandwiches. They were AMAZING!!! We will be going back, definitely. ”
“ I've dined in, I've done takeout. I've tried several things on the menu and loved everything. The sandwiches are great as well as their coffee and pastries. Best flan I've ever had. Basic dining area with an outside patio. I've eaten there in the morning and evening. Most things are made in house. Highly recommended it. ”
“ The food was to die for! We showed up when they have the first Saturday of the month pork roast! It was amazing! We also ordered a few sandwiches and they were also amazing! Then we ate a couple of their fruit pastries and guess what they were also out if this universe! Everything was fresh and seasoned to perfection! The customer service was outstanding as well...only downside was they were out of a couple items but that is totally understandable when you show up 20 mins to closing and the food is so amazing! Mmmmah ”
“ I believe Nelly's restaurant is family owned and operated. We were greeted warmly as we walked in the door and I noticed The restaurant was very clean. We had coffee and a Cuban fruit turnover But they have a full menu The pastries were extremely good and the coffee was a little strong but also very good. Based on the restaurants in the area I would say they have median prices. Great place! Great food. Great employees! I will be back. ”
“ So good. Simple, down to earth and my first time having Cuban food! I had the crispy chicken cutlet sandwich. Hefty portion, 15, fantastic crunch on the cutlet with a nice moist interior and an accompanying crunch on the crispy little potato strips. Pretty simple but it gets the job done with immense flavor. The bread is well-toasted and not too thick. Well-proportioned bread to fillings ratio. Casual sit down or to-go atmosphere inside, truly a local gem. Not really any vegetarian or vegan options if that's of concern to you. ”
“ Everything was off the charts amazing! This was my first time eating Cuban food and I will be back! Everything exceeded my expectations, the flavor of everything, staff, energy, service. Can’t wait to come back and try everything else. Thank you guys. Oh and I also can’t wait for Summer evenings out back on their beautiful patio! ”
“ What a great find in a place like Grants Pass! I had a cubano, and it was really good. My friend said the coffee was some of the best she had ever had. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. We definitely will go again. ”
“ I have been wanting to try this restaurant ever since it opened and I was finally able to visit this week. There is ample parking, and the restaurant has a clean beautiful decorated vibe. Now the food, the first time I went I ordered one of each of the empanadas they had, shredded beef and chicken. The empanadas are made to order so if you don't see them just ask! These were so flavorful! So much that I went back to get more before the week was over. This time they had pork and again excellent. Also the Cuban coffee delightful. ”
